Memorandum on protection of cultural heritage on the Silk Road was signed between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Tourism Development and the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Within the framework of Sharq Taronalari International Music Festival in Samarkand, a Memorandum on protection of cultural heritage on the Silk Road was signed between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Tourism Development and the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (ICHCAP).

The Memorandum was signed by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. Sayfullayev and Director-General of the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region, Gi Hyung Keum.
