Tashkent State University of Law hosted an international scientific-practical workshop on “Conceptual ideas of the Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the new edition”.

The workshop was attended by representatives of Ministries of Justice, Internal Affairs, Prosecutor General's Office, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, experts from Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Russia, professors and students.

Participants discussed the draft new edition of the Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, developed on the basis of international standards and foreign experience. Ideas and opinions expressed on the draft were discussed.

Special attention was also paid to reflection of peculiar features of the national economy and mentality in the process of introducing modern international standards into the draft code.
