A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between representatives of the cricket federations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. This has been reported by Uzbekistan Cricket Federation.
Representatives of Tajikistan Cricket Federation got acquainted with the Cricket Academy and other sports complexes in Tashkent. They emphasized the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan in the training and selection of qualified athletes.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Chairman of Uzbekistan Cricket Federation, Aziz Mikhliyev, and the Chairman of Tajikistan Cricket Federation, Najibullohi Ruzi.
By the document, cricket players from both countries will conduct joint training, international competitions established by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
According to the Memorandum of Cooperation, in May this year, the men’s and women’s cricket teams of Tajikistan will take part in training camps in Tashkent.
More than 300 young people go in for cricket in Uzbekistan. This sport is included in the program of the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, which will be held this year in China.
