Representatives of the Asian Cricket Council, who visited the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan, met with young people engaged in cricket in the country, inspected existing sports facilities, the Cricket Academy located in Tashkent, and the cricket stadium in Qibray district.

In addition, a meeting was held with the participation of Asian Cricket Council representatives – President of the Singapore Cricket Association Mahmood Gaznavi, Chief Operating Officer of the Emirates Cricket Board Subhan Ahmed, President of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan Aziz Mikhliyev, as well as coaches and specialists.

During the discussions, several issues were analyzed, including the further development of international cooperation, participation of Uzbekistan athletes in prestigious competitions, particularly in the Asian and Summer Olympic Games, continental and world championships, global tournaments, as well as the organization of seminars, training camps, and the provision of cricket equipment to athletes.
