The ITU Radio Regulations is a set of operating rules for devices emitting electromagnetic waves in the radio range. Each of these devices is a potential source of interference for radio reception, therefore, there is a need to accurately determine the parameters and operation of radio receivers and radio transmitting devices for their simultaneous operation in different regions. Radio Regulations include the classification of radio devices by their scope, parameters, and conditions for the use of radio frequencies by individual radio services in different regions of the world.
