During a visit to Russia, members of the delegation led by the Governor of Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzayev, met with the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
The parties discussed further development of interregional cooperation and exchanged views on expanding collaboration in investment, industry, agriculture, and the educational, cultural, and humanitarian fields.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that in recent years, cooperation with Uzbekistan has been developing steadily and actively. The results of consistent cooperation with Tashkent region are particularly aligned with the interests of both sides.

During the meeting, opportunities to implement joint projects in industrial cooperation, mechanical engineering, the petrochemical and food industries, construction materials production, and logistics were reviewed. Issues related to establishing cooperation among educational institutions, training specialists, and the exchange of experience were also discussed.

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed gratitude for the attention given to Tatarstan and its economic potential, and conveyed interest in further developing the partnership.
Zoyir Mirzayev stated readiness to implement new initiatives and projects based on trust and delivering tangible results.
After exchanging views on ongoing joint projects, the parties agreed to accelerate their implementation.
