Cooperation in the field of emergency prevention
A meeting was held between the Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, Azizbek Ikramov, and the head of the AFAD of Türkiye, Ali Hamza Pehlivan.
During the meeting, the heads of the emergency agencies of the two countries noted with satisfaction that practical cooperation has been steadily developing in recent years in the areas of experience exchange, emergency prevention, and the mitigation of their consequences.
Particular attention during the meeting was paid to issues concerning the development of the system for training qualified personnel, the improvement of scientific research and innovation, and the broad implementation of their results in practice.
As a priority task, it was identified to study advanced experience, establish cooperation between scientific institutions and practical structures, and train professional personnel based on a modern dual education system.
