The Regional Theater and Concert Palace in the city of Fergana hosted a cultural event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Korea and the 85th anniversary of the Korean diaspora living in Uzbekistan.

It was attended by a delegation led by the leadership of the Incheon Metropolitan City of South Korea. The Korean Pops Orchestra, who arrived in Fergana with a delegation, presented a large concert program.

The Hokim of the region Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that the Republic of Korea was one of the first in the Asia-Pacific region to recognize the independence of Uzbekistan, and also noted a new stage of cooperation between the two countries.

The performances of the Korean Pops Orchestra gave a great mood not only to the participants of the event, but also to more than 5,600 representatives of Korean nationality living in the region.
