During the third quarter of 2025, the Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan received a total of 11,333 appeals from citizens (consumers).

Of these, 10,549 appeals (93.1%) were resolved positively. As a result, damages amounting to a total of 78,694,299,251 UZS were recalculated and returned in favor of consumers.

In addition, based on 114 consumer appeals, the Federation and its regional executive bodies filed lawsuits with the courts. Following favorable rulings, consumers received an additional recovery of material and moral damages, totaling 21,440,915,912 UZS.

The majority of appeals received by the Federation were related to the following sectors:

3,550 (31.3%) – trade;

1,846 (16.3%) – utility services;

1,089 (9.6%) – water supply;

970 (8.6%) – gas supply;

569 (5.0%) – service sector;

431 (3.8%) – electricity supply;

335 (3.0%) – communications and internet;

233 (2.1%) – transport services;

223 (2.1%) – healthcare system;

1,902 (16.8%) – other sectors.

The Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan became a member of Consumers International in 2018.
