Specialists of Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange visited the central office of Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) in the city of Minsk.

The visit of Uzbekistan delegation took place within the framework of implementation of cooperation agreement signed between UzEx and BUCE on May 31 this year in the city of Tashkent. The document provides for the exchange of trade, economic and marketing information, holding joint events, strengthening business contacts between Uzbekistan and Belarus economic entities, development of cooperation in other promising areas.

During the visit to the central office of BUCE, Uzbekistan specialists studied in detail the main activities of the exchange, the procedure for admission to participation in exchange trades, the mechanism for calculating and controlling the fulfillment of obligations on exchange transactions. They also got acquainted with the work of the arbitration commission, the scheme of participation in trading through stock brokers and measures used to prevent unreasonable manipulation of prices.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on developing cooperation in the field of introducing the latest ICT and enhancing cyber security in implementation of exchange activities.
