On June 10, matches of the 10th round of the third stage of the FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers will take place.

The final round will feature the following matchups: Uzbekistan vs. Qatar, Kyrgyzstan vs. UAE, Iran vs. DPRK, Palestine vs. Oman, Jordan vs. Iraq, South Korea vs. Kuwait, Japan vs. Indonesia, Saudi Arabia vs. Australia, and China vs. Bahrain.

The Uzbekistan – Qatar match will kick off at 18:45 at the Bunyodkor Stadium. A team of Chinese referees will officiate the game: Ma Ning will serve as the main referee, and Zhou Fei and Zhang Cheng will be assistant referees. Jin Jingyuan will act as the fourth official, while Fu Ming will oversee the VAR system.

Although the outcome of this match will not affect the group standings, since Uzbekistan has already secured its place in the World Cup, it will serve as an excellent opportunity to conclude the qualifiers on a strong note ahead of the team’s historic debut at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Since 2000, Uzbekistan and Qatar have faced each other 16 times: Uzbekistan has won 9 matches, Qatar 4, and 3 games have ended in a draw.
