The annual session of China’s top political advisory body, the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), has commenced in Beijing.

President Xi Jinping and other key leaders are attending the opening ceremony of the third session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.

At the meeting, the agenda for the session was reviewed and approved.

Wang Huning, Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, delivered a report on behalf of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.

It has been reported that since the second session, political advisors have submitted a total of 6,019 proposals. Of these, 5,091 have been officially registered, with 99.9% processed and forwarded for discussion.

Notably, the International Press Exchange Program has facilitated the presence of UzA correspondent, providing a global perspective to this significant political event.
