A delegation from the Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University of China visited Tashkent State Agrarian University and its branches.
Meetings were held during which issues of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector, expanding joint scientific research, and developing cultural ties between students were discussed.
The scientific works “Studies of food issues in the SCO countries” and “Agriculture in five Central Asian countries”, prepared under the editorship of Professor Wei Feng, were transferred to the TSAU library fund.
Students of Tashkent State Agrarian University demonstrated their skills in Chinese calligraphy, read poetry, and sang Chinese songs.
The Chinese delegation also took part in the university’s celebrations. Current issues related to the preservation of agricultural heritage, the training of specialists, and the introduction of innovative methods into the educational process were discussed during the meetings.
University professors presented reports on Chinese agriculture, historical relations between China and Uzbekistan, and Chinese traditional applied arts.
Following the visit, it was emphasized that practical activities will be consistently carried out to expand agricultural education, improve curricula quality, enhance student exchange, and strengthen cultural interaction between the two countries. These initiatives will contribute to the formation of the Chinese-Uzbek agricultural educational community within the framework of the Belt and Road Project.
