
China’s national legislature, the National People’s Congress (NPC), concluded its third session on Tuesday.
The event was attended by President Xi Jinping, other top leaders, and foreign journalists in China as part of the CIPCC program.
During the session, deputies reviewed the report on implementing the 2024 national economic and social development plan and the draft plan for 2025. They approved this year’s plan.
Additionally, issues related to the analysis and prospects of the central and local budgets were discussed, and the central budget for the current year was approved.
Reports from the NPC Standing Committee, the Supreme People’s Court, and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate were also adopted.
The participants emphasized the strict implementation of the adopted decisions and the need to effectively fulfill the goals and tasks outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025).
