Chess: Abdusattorov to face Nikolas Theodorou today
After the completion of the fourth-round matches of the XTX Markets London Chess Classic 2025, Nodirbek Abdusattorov leads with 3.5 points.
In the fourth round of the tournament, with a prize fund of 50,000 pounds, Abdusattorov beat the British champion, 54-year-old grandmaster Michael Adams, with black pieces.
Alireza Firouzja from France, who takes second place in the tournament, defeated Pavel Eljanov from Ukraine with white pieces in this round and brought his points to 3.
In the fifth round, Abdusattorov will face Nikolas Theodorou from Greece with white pieces.
The XTX Markets London Chess Classic 2025 will run until December 5.
