Cádiz CF and BMB Trade Group signed a 5-year Strategic Partnership Agreement
As part of the implementation of the tasks to form a new image of football in Uzbekistan, defined in the Concept for raising to a new stage in the development of football in Uzbekistan until 2030, the BMB Trade Group is working on investment projects aimed at strengthening cooperation between the football clubs of Uzbekistan and Spain.
In particular, with the assistance of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Madrid, since August 2021, several meetings and negotiations have been organized between the management of the football club “Cadiz” (Cádiz CF) and the investment and consulting company BMB Trade Group, which is a sponsor of the football club “Sogdiana” (Jizzakh).
On October 16-17, a visit of a delegation of the football club Cadiz was organized to Jizzakh, which held negotiations with the management of the football club “Sogdina” and the BMB Trade Group company.
Following the meeting, the parties identified further steps for strategic partnership, implementation of advanced foreign experience and methodology for training professional football personnel.
On November 28 this year the final phase of negotiations took place between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB Trade Group and the Vice President of the football club “Cadiz” Rafael Jesus Chamorro, who signed a five-year agreement on strategic partnership.

The Agreement provides for a wide range of areas of cooperation, including the development of a long-term program of cooperation between BMB Trade Group, football clubs “Cadiz” and “Sogdiana” (Jizzakh); preparation by experts of FC “Cadiz” of a special training program for Uzbek footballers; the opening of the Academy of FC “Cadiz” based on FC “Sogdiana” in August 2022 with the involvement of coaches and methodologists; sending local football players under 16 to study in Cadiz (Spain) for training under the Cádiz CF program; organization of training cycles for talented football players at the Academy of Uzbekistan for further continuation of activities abroad; attracting masters of Spanish football to exchange experience at the Cádiz CF Academy in Jizzakh; internship for management personnel (agents, breeders, marketers) under the Cádiz CF program (for 1 month); preparation of the youth national team “Sogdiana” according to the Cádiz CF methodology.
In general, the agreement will contribute to the further strengthening of the Uzbek-Spanish partnership in this area, the introduction of international standards in national football based on advanced foreign experience, as well as the implementation of other important tasks laid down in the Concept for raising the development of football in Uzbekistan to a new stage until 2030.
