During an official visit to China, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the headquarters and technology center of the leading Chinese company BYD in Shenzhen and launched the production of electric vehicles in Jizzakh region.

An agreement was reached on the localization of the production of spare parts for BYD electric and hybrid cars and the creation of service centers in Uzbekistan.

As part of the agreement, an official dealer of the company, a car dealership, and a warranty service center were opened in Namangan region. The Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzokov took part in the opening ceremony.

25 billion UZS were invested in the car dealership, 40 jobs were created. It is planned to open branches in other regions.

The first client of the dealership was given gifts.
