As part of the international conference “Empowering Small and Medium-Sized Businesses to Enhance Economic Development and Competitiveness”, held in Shakhrisabz district, presentations were conducted by the Business Development Bank.

At the roundtable, Business Development Bank Initiatives to Expand Opportunities for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, information was presented on the outcomes of the continuous small business support program. It was noted that the bank, serving as the main supporting structure for this program, actively finances business projects to expand entrepreneurship, create new jobs in the regions, increase household incomes, and introduce products and services on terms favorable to entrepreneurs.

Participants were introduced to the “Entrepreneur-Friendly Bank” concept during the events. The First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Business Development Bank, Shakhzod Yusupov, emphasized that this concept is based on the aspiration to become a convenient, innovative partner for businesses, offering advanced solutions.

Representatives of the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and Japan’s Yamagata University, who participated in the dialogue, particularly highlighted the role and contribution of the bank in business development. In addition, clients shared their successful projects and practical experiences made possible through the bank’s financial support.

The events also featured an exchange of views with international financial institutions and entrepreneurs on new initiatives and solutions in business support.
