The opening ceremony of the exhibition “Bucharest – Little Paris” took place in the French Alliance of Tashkent on March 25.

The exposition is organized by the Embassy of Romania in Uzbekistan jointly with Romanian Agerpres National News Agency with the support of the French Alliance of Tashkent and is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Romania’s accession to the International Organisation of La Francophonie (French-speaking nations).

The exhibition, held as part of the celebration of this event in Tashkent, consists of 22 photographs presenting to the Uzbek public the image of the Romanian capital between 1929 and 1939.

Romania pays great attention to the development of relations with Uzbekistan at all levels, including in culture, as a link that can best bring our people closer together.

The exhibition will run until March 31.
