A roundtable discussion on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was held at the Uzbekistan Embassy in Brussels.

Representatives of such Belgian and Dutch travel agencies as 7PLUS Tour Operator Belgium, Caravanistan, Dimsum Reizen, Glenaki Tourism Consultancy, Uzbekistan-Netherlands Friendship Foundation, Brussels Chamber of Commerce, portal Travel Tomorrow, The Brussels Times, La Vie Diplomatique and other leading media attended the event.

It was emphasized that in 2023, more than 7 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan, and it is planned to increase this figure to 10 million in 2024 and 15 million by 2030.

The Founder & CEO of Travel Tomorrow, António Buscardini, noted that the tourism industry of Uzbekistan is experiencing significant positive changes, and post-pandemic recovery is occurring rapidly.

Following the event, agreements were reached on the activation of PR companies, the publication of special exhibition tourism booklets, magazines, and other materials to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan together with travel agencies and the media and distribution among potential tourists, organizing a separate meeting for travel agencies, and media representatives of the Netherlands at the end of February this year.
