The World Boxing Cup stage, held under the auspices of the World Boxing Organization, continues in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. On another day of competition, three members of the Uzbekistan national team entered the ring.

Khumorabonu Mamajonova, competing in the -57 kg weight category, defeated Wu Shih-Yi from Chinese Taipei. Aziza Zokirova (-75 kg) claimed victory over Poland’s Oliwia Toborek, and Feruza Kazakova (-54 kg) defeated host nation boxer Anel Sakysh.

Today, July 2, three more Uzbekistan athletes will step into the ring:

-48 kg: Farzona Fozilova vs. Nazym Kyzaibai (Kazakhstan);

-51 kg: Sabina Bobokulova vs. Martina Vassallo (Italy);

-65 kg: Navbakhor Khamidova vs. Madeleine Angelsen (Norway).
