An exhibition of works by Chinese and Uzbek artists, “Belt and Road Prosperity”, opened at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou.

The event was organized with the participation of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition showcases the works of esteemed artists such as Fayzullo Akhmadaliyev, Bakhtiyor Mahkamov, Akmal Nur, Farrukh Akhmadaliyev, and Dilshod Vakhobov, along with the trainees of the artistic mastery workshop of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan – Bobur Vakhobjonov, Jakhongir Abdullayev, Umidjon Alimov, Mirvokhid Mirsaidov, Shokhrukh Qosimov, and Zukhriddin Qiyomov.

“A unique exhibition has opened in the beautiful exhibition hall of the city of Hangzhou”, says the Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, People’s Artist Akmal Nuriddinov. “This exhibition displays paintings by Uzbek and Chinese artists. We brought 29 paintings from Uzbekistan. There is a symbolic meaning to holding the exhibition under the slogan “Belt and Road Prosperity”. After all, historically, our people have a lot in common. The Great Silk Road passed through the territories of the two countries. Exhibitions like this allow us to get to know each other better through cultural exchange. The policy pursued by the leaders of the two countries will bring our peoples even closer together, not only in the economic, but also in the social, humanitarian, cultural, and educational spheres. And this timely organized exhibition is important”.

The event was also attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Shanghai, Agzamjon Mansurov.
