China hosts the Belt and Road Forum.

Representatives from more than 140 countries will take part in it.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the international event will last two days. Today, the practical part of the forum will take place, and tomorrow – the central part, during which the grand opening of the forum will take place. President of China Xi Jinping will deliver a speech on developing trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation.

More than 4,000 people are expected to take part in the forum. Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Ma Zhaoxu noted in an interview with Xinhua that the main task is ensuring shared prosperity and development and consistently implementing the Belt and Road projects with partners.
