A young talent from Gulistan, Bekzod Abduvoitov, won first place in the World Oratory Competition “Lomba Berpidato”, held as part of the international festival “Handai Indonesia 2025” in Indonesia.

He was the only participant from Uzbekistan in this competition and represented his country with great honor.

The festival, organized from October 25-31 at the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia, brought together 436 talented young people from 60 countries. Participants competed in speech culture, language proficiency, and the presentation of their national cultural values.

Bekzod Abduvoitov’s performance received high praise from the jury. He spoke about the opportunities created for young people in Uzbekistan, the ongoing reforms in the education system, and the country’s national values, demonstrating the spiritual strength of his homeland.

“For me, this victory is not only a personal achievement but also an opportunity to showcase the potential of Uzbekistan’s youth”, said Bekzod Abduvoitov. “The attention and support given to us in Uzbekistan inspire confidence and strength to reach new heights”.
