
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has met with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, covering the fields of education, sustainable development, green energy, and current aspects of the regional and global agenda. Special attention was paid to expanding practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU.
The importance of the consistent implementation of the agreements reached during the recent Central Asia – European Union Summit held in Samarkand was emphasized during the talks. The high potential of partnership between the regions was noted, and the mutual desire for its comprehensive strengthening was expressed.
