The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Baku organized Uzbek Cuisine Week on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence. More than 60 people actively participated in the online competition. Winners were awarded.

Almost 600 materials devoted to the peculiar features of the rich history, culture and traditions of the Uzbek people, national cuisine were published on social networks. Publications about samsa, pilaf, lagman, manty and gul-khanum have become especially popular.

A group of three fans of Uzbek cuisine, who published numerous photos and videos with colorful Uzbek dishes that they prepared, became the winners. The awarding ceremony also included an exhibition of Uzbek dishes, presented by the participants.

Another exhibition introduced the tourist potential and unique masterpieces of the ancient, original and rich culture of Uzbekistan. The exhibition includes samples of pottery, gold embroidery and other products made by Uzbek artisans, members of the Hunarmand Association.
