Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan organized Azerbaijan Art and Culture Days at Fergana State University.
As part of the event, a presentation was held for the book “Jonimga jo – Ozarbayjonim” (“My Dear Azerbaijan”) by Azerbaijan’s national poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh. The event was attended by a delegation led by Akif Marifli, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, as well as university professors and lecturers. The discussion focused on the artistic legacy of Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh and the friendly ties between the two nations.
At the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, guests were welcomed in accordance with national traditions. Faculty and students of the Department of Vocal and Instrumental Performance performed Azerbaijani songs.

Guests viewed an exhibition of students’ creative works. The paintings and applied art pieces skillfully portrayed the beauty of the valley’s nature and national values.

As part of the event, a classroom dedicated to the legacy of Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh was opened with the participation of University Rector Bahodirjon Shermuhammadov and Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center Akif Marifli. During the ceremony, documents on bilateral cooperation were signed, and commemorative gifts were presented to the guests.

At the university’s Information Resource Center, a corner of Azerbaijani literature was opened, which will serve as a source of knowledge for students and researchers. A set of books was donated to the university by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center.
