These days, a delegation of artisans led by the Chairman of the Hunarmand Association, Rasuljon Mirzaakhmedov, visited the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the Hunarmand Association, members of the delegation met with representatives of the National Museum of Isfahan Arts, Riza Fathi Gallery, as well as the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, in Isfahan.

At the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Isfahan Province and the Hunarmand Association.

Currently, a group of Uzbekistan artisans is exchanging experiences with artisans from the city of Mashhad. In particular, they meet with artisans at jewelry and gold-sewing enterprises in the city and study their creative work. Activities are also underway to strengthen creative ties.

The members of the delegation met with the Deputy Minister in charge of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mrs. Maryam Jalali Dehkordi.

Issues of bilateral cooperation, the organization of exhibitions in Uzbekistan and Iran, and ensuring artisans’ participation in international festivals were discussed at the meeting.
