The next session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis has commenced.

The agenda includes the discussion of several draft laws and the consideration of matters related to parliamentary oversight.

Speaker N. Ismailov provided information on key developments in the country and the President’s recent visit to Khorezm region.

It was noted that the President visited the Arda Khiva complex – a project with a unique architectural design that blends history with modernity. Built on a 25-hectare site, the complex is expected to attract more tourists and become the second major landmark of Khorezm region.

The Speaker also spoke about a meeting held in Urgench district to discuss priority tasks for the economic and social development of Khorezm. He emphasized that members of parliament elected from the region must take an active role in implementing these objectives. It was also highlighted that the ongoing elections of mahalla chairpersons nationwide are being organized based on new democratic principles and transparency.
