The premiere of Boris Eifman’s ballet “Anna Karenina” took place as part of the International Theater and Ballet Festival in Tashkent, the Art and Culture Development Foundation reports.

Boris Eifman, the founder and creator of his theater, his style, and his ballet universe, who is called “one of the leading choreographers in the world” and an “amazing magician of the theater”, was born in 1946 in Siberia, and from early childhood, he wanted to express his feelings and his thoughts in body language, in dance. 

The masterpiece staged by Boris Eifman draws the audience into the inexhaustible world of human passions, establishes lively spiritual ties with the audience. The choreographer chose for his ballet fragments of famous music from various works by Tchaikovsky.
