The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Uzbekistan, Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, met with students of Webster University in Tashkent and Tashkent State University of Law.

At the meeting, special attention was given to the dynamic development of relations between the two countries, driven by a series of significant events, including the joint commission meeting on road transport, visits by Romanian representatives to Uzbekistan, and reciprocal visits by Uzbekistan delegations to Romania.

Ambassador Daniel Cristian Ciobanu emphasized the importance of a creative approach in public diplomacy and highlighted that the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan are opening new opportunities for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Romania.

The Ambassador stated that Romania will continue to advocate for strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
