The Almalyk branch of the National University of Science and Technology MISiS has received a license to train in the “Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering” field.

According to the Ministry of Energy, obtaining the license took more than a year. The process consisted of such essential stages as creating the necessary conditions on campus and training the faculty.

Student admission will begin this year. An advanced engineering school will also be created based on the branch, including master’s programs.

The branch has been operating since 2018 and trains specialists in the fields of “Mining”, “Metallurgy” and “Automation”.
