The leader of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish”, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Alisher Qodirov also took part in the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Local Councils and voted.

“For our Uzbekistan to be powerful and life in the country prosperous, people’s representatives must be chosen correctly, and they, in turn, must work effectively. I voted to achieve these goals”, Mr. Qodirov noted.

According to the Central Election Commission, 19 million 944 thousand 859 voters are taking part in the current elections, and voting is taking place at more than 10,000 polling stations.
