History is a great teacher.
Our task is to preserve our ancestors’ memory and form a sense of respect for the past among future generations.
It is impossible to count the number of monuments of our cultural legacy scattered worldwide, telling about the history of Uzbekistan. They are important in educating young people in the spirit of respect for the Motherland and love for the history of the Uzbek people.

It is no secret that Uzbekistan’s history attracts the attention of the whole world. Ali Sarikhani, originally from Iran, moved to London with his family in the late 1970s. Here he gathered his own rich collection, while simultaneously engaging in entrepreneurial activities. His collection contains more than a thousand unique exhibits related to the history of the peoples of the East. In particular, dozens of ancient exhibits and rare manuscripts from the era of the Seljuks, Samanids, Khwarezmshahs, and Temurids are kept.
The delegation members, led by the Head of the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, met with Ali Sarikhani.

According to the Center for Islamic Civilization, his collection includes rare pages of the Quran from Uzbekistan, a miniature of the work “Mirajname” created in Herat in 1438 during the reign of Shahrukh Mirzo, and objects of folk and applied art that aroused great interest among researchers in Uzbekistan.
“I visited Uzbekistan a few years ago, became familiar with the rich culture, centuries-old traditions, and values of your people”, says Ali Sarikhani. “At auctions held in different countries, I always try to purchase antique items related to Uzbekistan, because the culture and history of your country have always fascinated me”.
The head of the Uzbekistan delegation invited Ali Sarikhani to the Center for Islamic Civilization opening ceremony in Uzbekistan, which will be held this year. The organization of the exhibition from the Sarikhani collection related to Uzbekistan in Tashkent was discussed.
