The competition, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the country, organized by Organization to promote the defense (OPD) of Uzbekistan “Vatanparvar” and Namangan regional khokimiyat (administration), was attended by about 100 athletes from Namangan, Andijan, Fergana, Tashkent, Jizzakh, Bukhara, Samarkand, Khorezm regions and Tashkent city.

Sergey Svyatniy, Vadim Vasilyev, Boris Nagov from Tashkent city, Alisher Mirzaev and Yuriy Kiselev from Fergana region and members of the “ARZ-1” team Said Sardor and Vladimir Novikov became the winners of the Uzbekistan Aeromodelling Championship.

Gold medals of the National Cord-Aeromodelling championship among adolescents went to Muhiddin Boborahimov, Aleksey Kalashnikov from Tashkent city, Lazizbek Gafforov from Fergana, and Sardor Umarov from Namangan.

The team of Tashkent region became the absolute winner in the team standings of the Uzbekistan Championship and the National Cord-Aeromodelling championship. Second place was taken by the team of Fergana region, the third - the team from Tashkent city.
