According to the Statistics Agency under the President of Uzbekistan, 444,307 boys were born in the country, 30,609 more than all born girls (413,698).

It is noted that almost 19 thousand of the total number of children born in the country are twins, and 499 of them are triplets or quadruplets.

On the first day of 2025, 1040 children were born in Uzbekistan, including 492 boys and 548 girls, the Ministry of Health reports.

Currently, the population of Uzbekistan exceeds 37.5 million people, and the percentage of men and women is 50.35% to 49.65%.
