Abdumalik Abdusalimov wins the North American Open 2025
Uzbekistan national team member Abdumalik Abdusalimov won the North American Open 2025 in Las Vegas.
Uzbekistan’s talented young grandmaster won the international tournament with 6.5 points among 125 chess players. Ehsan Ghaem Maghami from Iran became second, and Koustav Chatterjee from India became third.
Uzbekistan’s other chess player, Muhammadali Abdurakhmanov, ranked fifth, while international master Saidakbar Saidaliyev occupied the 27th place.
