Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has met with Koen Doens, Director-General for International Cooperation and Development of the European Commission.

On November 11, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Brussels to attend the 15th meeting of Uzbekistan – EU Cooperation Council, met with Koen Doens, Director-General for International Cooperation and Development of the European Commission.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and emphasized their interest in maintaining the active dynamics established in relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union in recent years.

Issues of expanding the dialogue in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of environmental protection were considered.
