The Imkon Ventures fund, with a capital of $5 million, is focused on investments in startups at the pre-seed and seed stages. The initiative aims to promote the integration of Uzbekistan teams into the international technology ecosystem.

The National Venture Fund of Uzbekistan – UzVC is the leading investor of the fund. This confirms the strategic importance of the project and strengthens the trust of international institutional partners. The launching of the fund was officially announced at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) conference on small and medium-sized businesses, which helped draw attention to the initiative from the global venture capital community.

The fund will invest in startups in fintech, artificial intelligence, B2B SaaS, and DeepTech, focusing on projects with potential for cross-border growth. Shortly, Imkon Ventures plans to invest in 25-30 startups. It is expected that the launch of the fund will create more than 1,000 jobs for highly qualified specialists by 2030 and will have a long-term impact on the development of digital infrastructure and human capital in the country.

In the long term, Imkon Ventures aims to promote the emergence of the first technological “unicorns” in Uzbekistan and strengthen the country’s position as a key player in the regional innovation economy.
