The Chief Physician of the Specialized Pediatric Surgical Clinic of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jamshid Shamsiyev, attended the 34th Annual Congress for Endosurgery in Children, organized by the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group (IPEG), devoted to pediatric endosurgery.

Leading scientists and doctors of pediatric endosurgery from 43 countries, including the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and South Korea, attended the congress held in Kagoshima, Japan.

Professor Jamshid Shamsiyev presented the methods of laparoscopic treatment of liver echinococcosis in children, which are successfully practiced in a Specialized Pediatric Surgical Clinic.

Over twenty sessions organized within the framework of the congress discussed various areas of minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of childhood diseases.
