Negotiations were held at the International Institute for Central Asia between Director Javlon Vakhabov and the Executive Director of Hungary’s Danube Institute, István Kiss.

The parties exchanged views on advancing strategic dialogue between the two regions, emphasizing the importance of strengthening scientific and expert ties in the context of the outcomes of the recent “Central Asia – European Union” summit in Samarkand.

Discussions also covered the organization of joint research projects, academic internships, and the involvement of young professionals in international educational programs.

Following the talks, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two institutes. The document affirms both parties’ commitment to building a sustainable dialogue, implementing joint scientific, analytical, and educational initiatives, and establishing a new platform for dialogue and collaborative action across the Eurasian space.
