On August 13, Tashkent hosted a press conference on the occasion of the launch of a project on the digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), as well as on the export of its products to countries of the far and near abroad using the capabilities of the ZoodMall trading platform.

The project was initiated by ZoodMall with the support of Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC, MyUzCard, the Electronic Commerce Association of Uzbekistan, the International Trade Centre (ITC) at the WTO and the UN, and the Export Promotion Agency at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.

The launch of the project is planned for September 2021, when the first SME entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their products in 6 countries of the Middle East and the CIS countries where the company operates, including Kazakhstan, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Director-General of ZoodMall Askarbek Alshanbayev said that the company now provides local small and medium-sized businesses traders with direct access to all Uzbek buyers, including those from rural areas.

With the support of Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC, the Electronic Commerce Association, ITC and the Export Promotion Agency, ZoodMall will help small and medium-sized businesses go online.

Currently, there are more than 7 million active clients on ZoodMall international platform, and the launch of this initiative will help raise awareness and introduce Uzbek products to foreign markets.
