A Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan delegation held talks with the Korea Office of Civil Aviation in Seoul.

A memorandum was signed, and agreements were reached following the talks.

According to the Ministry of Transport, restrictions on the number of designated airlines between the two countries have been lifted. Carriers of each side will be able to operate up to 24 bilateral flights weekly instead of the current 10. The total number of destinations for air traffic will be 48. An agreement was also reached on the bilateral use of the special Open Skies regime announced at the international airports of Jeju in South Korea and Samarkand in Uzbekistan for airlines of both sides.
