On September 26, 2024, Tashkent will host the international conference of think tanks of the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States “A new agenda for long-term cooperation”.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center for Foreign Policy Studies and International Initiatives, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the CIS Executive Committee.

The heads and leading experts of the Commonwealth countries’ analytical structures and representatives of the diplomatic corps in Tashkent will attend the conference.

Uzbekistan will be represented by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Institute for Central Asia, the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies, and the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, as well as other scientific institutions.

The conference’s key topics will be the development of practical cooperation in the CIS space in the current international situation and the development of proposals and recommendations on promising areas of the Organization’s growth in the future.
