During the Uzbekistan delegation’s visit to the United Kingdom, a meeting was held at the British-Uzbek Society.

At the meeting, Kahramon Sariyev, Chairman of the Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries, emphasized the importance of developing relations between the two countries. In his speech, he noted that “the friendship between the United Kingdom and Uzbekistan is not only about diplomatic relations, but also about historical mutual respect and trust that unite our peoples”, and called for strengthened cooperation.

The parties also discussed expanding cultural, scientific, and economic ties between the two countries, exchanging experiences, and developing people’s diplomacy.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries and the British-Uzbek Society.
