As part of a visit to Japan, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with compatriots working in information technology and developing startups in Japan.

During the discussion, which brought together more than twenty Uzbek specialists and startup founders working in leading international companies and technological projects in Japan, issues related to the development of Uzbekistan’s digital economy, existing opportunities for startups and IT specialists, and further strengthening cooperation with the Uzbek diaspora abroad were discussed.

Uzbek specialists working in Japan highly praised the positive changes in Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem in recent years, as well as the conditions created for the development of technology businesses.

Specific areas for strengthening technological and innovative cooperation between the two countries were outlined.
