According to the National Statistics Committee, approximately 8.6 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes from January to September 2025. This figure represents an increase of nearly 2.8 million people, or 49.3 percent, compared to the same period last year.

The breakdown of tourist arrivals by country is as follows:

Kyrgyz Republic: 2.4 million;

Kazakhstan: 2 million;

Tajikistan: 1.9 million;

Russia: 757,100;

Afghanistan: 343,600;

Turkmenistan: 275,000;

China: 176,900;

Türkiye: 129,900;

India: 55,800;

Republic of Korea: 35,200;

Other countries: 435,000.
