On November 18, the Day of Adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Digital Technologies hosted a spiritual and enlightenment event entitled “33 Years to the State Flag!”

The Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov opened the event with a welcoming speech. He cordially congratulated all participants on the Day of Adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

He called on everyone to actively participate in the challenge to respect and revere the flag.

The Law “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan” enshrined the right to use images of the country’s flag in public places, on the roofs of buildings and other objects, in residential and work premises, as well as in adjacent territories, subject to due respect for the state symbol of Uzbekistan.

At the event, a creative meeting was organized with the participation of members of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, poets Fakhriddin Khait and Rustam Mirvohid. Discussions were held on “The Role of the National Flag in the Life of the Country and People” and “My Flag is My Pride”.

Poems of poets dedicated to Motherland, life, parents, humanity, and love were met by the event participants in a festive mood.
