The Ministry of Preschool and School Education hosted a meeting with the leadership of Hancom Academy, which is dedicated to implementing a joint project to create smart classes specializing in information and communication technologies in Uzbekistan’s secondary schools.
It was attended by the Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova, Hancom Academy CEO Lee Kwang-Heon, the Academy’s Executive Director, the organization’s official representative in Uzbekistan, and senior officials of the ministry.

It was announced that by 2027, Hancom Academy would gradually introduce one thousand educational computer classes in schools to use ICT and create courses in IT professions.

A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between the parties to develop and plan future steps in cooperation opportunities.
