According to the National Statistics Committee, 10,000 Japanese citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes from January to May 2025.

Compared to the corresponding period last year, their number increased by 3,500 people, or by 53.2%.

The number of Japanese citizens who entered Uzbekistan from January to May 2025 for:

Tourism – 8,950 people;

Visiting relatives – 751 people;

Official – 286 people;

Education – 36 people;

Commercial – 1 person.
